Lisa Vandenberk Miele
Physiotherapist & Founder of LV Physiotherapy

Lisa Vandenberk Miele has many years of experience working in the health care system at Hotel Dieu Shaver Health and Rehabilitation Centre. She also gained experience working in private practice clinics and providing home care in the Niagara Region. Lisa graduated from McMaster University with an Honours Bachelor of Kinesiology degree and a Masters of Science in Physiotherapy degree. Since her graduation Lisa has continued to take courses to further her knowledge and skills in the Physiotherapy field including Acupuncture, Soft Tissue Release, Neuro-Developmental Training Workshop, Stroke Rehabilitation Workshops and Therapeutic Taping courses.
Lisa recently underwent an ACL reconstruction and rehabilitation herself. Through this process, she has gained even more of an understanding and empathy toward individuals with mobility issues, pain and rehabilitation needs. Lisa has integrated back into the sports and hobbies she loves including cycling, rollerblading, dancing and touch football and has began training for Triathlons.
Chelsea Ogbuah is originally from Nova Scotia, where she began her career working in a private physiotherapy clinic in her home town. She first graduated from Acadia University with a Bachelor of Kinesiology, where she was also a part of the Athletic Therapy program and worked very closely with varsity sports teams. Chelsea swam competitively for seven years and at Acadia University went on to coach with the Wolfville Tritons swim team. She also volunteered for four years with the Sensory Motor Instructional Leadership Experience (S.M.I.L.E.). The S.M.I.L.E. program creates a fun learning environment for children with various abilities and special needs.
After graduating from Acadia, Chelsea then went on to Dalhousie University where she graduated with her Master of Science in Physiotherapy. Since graduation, she has furthered her education by taking various courses, including acupuncture, functional dry needling and vestibular rehabilitation. She has also taking courses focusing on the assessment, treatment and management of the temporomandibular joint, shoulder complex, low back, concussions, and chronic pain.
Chelsea has a particular interest in vestibular rehabilitation and concussion management, as well as enjoying helping those of all ages with sports related and other musculoskeletal injuries. She continues her education in order to provide her patients with the most up to date and patient centered care.

Dora graduated from McMaster University with a Masters of Science Degree in Physiotherapy. Since graduating she has worked in the private sector as well as in acute care.
Dora has developed a special interest in concussion rehabilitation. She has completed her Complete Concussion Management Certification and is pursuing further continuing education in concussion and vestibular rehabilitation. Dora also has completed her Level 1 and 2 Manual Therapy courses as well as Level 1 and 2 Acupuncture Courses.
She is a strong believer in taking a patient-centred approach when treating patients. She is constantly looking for ways to offer the best care possible to patients. In her free time Dora enjoys playing various sports and travelling.
Sava graduated from McMaster University in 2018 with a Bachelor of Science (Honours) Kinesiology followed by his Master of Science in Physiotherapy in 2020.
Throughout his educational journey, Sava has gained experience with a wide variety of patient populations. He volunteered extensively at MacWheelers, an exercise program for adults with spinal cord injuries, and with McMaster’s varsity soccer teams as a strength and conditioning coach. Throughout his clinical placements, Sava has worked with various orthopedic conditions in multiple private clinics, neurological conditions at Hotel Dieu Shaver, and acute care at the St. Catharine’s General Hospital.
Sava will take the time to understand your goals, hobbies, and interests while he aims to maximize your functional abilities and minimize your pain. His treatment approach focuses on evidence-based exercise programs with manual therapy techniques to support your recovery.
Moving forward, Sava aims to gain certification in concussion & vestibular rehabilitation, acupuncture, and become a Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Physiotherapy (FCAMPT).
In his free time, Sava enjoys playing soccer, rock climbing, and training Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. As an athlete who has gone through injuries himself, Sava can better empathize with his clients in a meaningful way and help encourage them throughout their recovery process. As a result, he is strong believer in improving the quality of life for his clients through functional and purposeful exercise and movement.

Rob became an Exercise Physiologist through the Canadian Society for Exercise Physiology. Over the past few years he has focused his studies on Exercise Bio-mechanics, Clinical Assessments and Anatomy. Rob earned two diplomas in Health and Fitness Promotions and Police Foundations and received 2 degrees in Physical Education and Exercise Science for Health and Performance with honors.
Rob is also a personal trainer with over 5 years of training experience working with a variety of clients. His primary focus is to provide exercise management for individuals who benefit from the rehabilitative and preventative application of exercise to live a pain-free and healthy life.
In conjunction to providing exercise guidance he is also looking to take courses in Acupuncture and Massage to further expand his skill set.
Mike is a graduate of Niagara College, where he was dual trained as an Occupational Therapist Assistant and a Physiotherapist Assistant and graduated with Honors.
Mike has various certifications which have enhance his skills as a Physiotherapist Assistant including Gentle Persuasion Approach and Falls Prevention. He is always interested in furthering his education and has done so by completing a certification course involving Fitness in Oncology.
Mike has had placements in a variety of areas around the Niagara region including Long-Term Care Facilities and the Niagara Health System. He has an interest in the healthcare field and has spent the past 5 years serving the community as a patient transfer. Mike has had previous experience with training as an assistant coach for a high school swim team.
Adrianna’s passion for her own physical health and wellness journey and interest in what the human body is capable of is what inspired her to pursue a career in the health and fitness industry. Adrianna graduated from Brock University with an Honors Bachelor of Science Degree in Kinesiology and in the same year became a Registered Kinesiologist. She has worked in a variety of multidisciplinary health care settings including the Outpatient Rehabilitation Centre at Hotel Dieu Shaver, home care within the Niagara Region and private physiotherapy clinics. Her knowledge and experience confirmed her belief that what you fuel the body with goes hand in hand with feeling better physically, mentally and achieving your fitness and training goals. With this belief in mind, Adrianna continued her studies and became a Certified Sport Nutrition Coach.
Adrianna has a passion for functional fitness, maximizing recovery and focusing on nutrition in order to feel and live the best life possible. Adrianna’s love of learning inspires her to further continue her education and allows her to provide her clients with a holistic approach to all treatments and care with the most up to date and patient centered practices. Her continued learning has led her to become certified as a Fascial Stretch Therapist, Soft Tissue Release Therapist and Registered Reflexologist. Adrianna has specialized her learning and skills in exercise prescription and delivery for Oncology and Parkinson’s Rehabilitation.
Adrianna’s goal is to share her knowledge, skills and personal experience to be a strong support for all of her clients. As a fascial stretch therapist and Registered Reflexologist, Adrianna understands and advocates the benefits of taking the time to recover and restore the body in today’s busy world. Through her experience working with a very diverse range of clientele, she has gained an understanding of the importance of all aspects of health, wellness and fitness. Adrianna has gained empathy towards individuals with chronic illnesses, weight loss goals, pain, mobility issues, and rehabilitation needs.
Rachelle is a graduate of the Occupational Therapist Assistant and Physiotherapist Assistant program at Humber College as well as completing her degree in Kinesiology at Guelph Humber in 2014.
Rachelle has had experience in different settings including cardiac rehabilitation, stroke rehabilitation as well as spending the last couple years working in long term care facilities in the Niagara region. As part of the LV Physiotherapy team, she aspires to motivate and assist clients to reach their personal rehabilitation goals and achieve a better quality of life.
In her spare time, you can find Rachelle spending time outdoors, volunteering or honing her skills as a piano and guitar player.
Pina was born in Italy where she graduated with her Early Childhood Education Diploma before she moved to Canada. Pina has been in St. Catharines for over 36 years and has provided excellent customer service while working in retail. She is bringing her enthusiasm, experience and skills to LV Physiotherapy. She will be answering phone calls, booking appointments and performing other clerical receptionist duties.
In her spare time, Pina enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading, baking and going for summer walks. Pina is also fluent in Italian.
Cara was born and raised in St. Catharines and earned a diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology from St. Lawrence College. Life took her on a different path and her focus became working full time and raising her children.
Cara worked in retail for many years advancing herself to the position of HR/payroll Administrator. When the store closed in 2019 Cara decided to continue her education and received a diploma in Medical Administration.
She will be answering phone calls, booking appointments and performing other clerical receptionist duties.
