  • Low back pain
  • Strains/sprains
  • Fractures
  • Plantar Fasciitis
  • Tendonitis/ Tendinopathy

  • Workplace injuries (WSIB)

Orthopedic Manual Therapy at LV Physiotherapy May Include:

Joint Mobilization

Moving joints in specific directions and at different speeds to regain movement.

Contract-Relax

Facilitating relaxation of muscles to gain range of motion.

Passive Range of Motion

Gently increase range of motion while decreasing pain, swelling, and stiffness.

Muscle Stretching

Increasing blood flow to a muscle and improving a muscle’s elasticity allow for increased flexibility, muscle control and comfortable muscle tone.

Soft Tissue Release

Soft Tissue Release (STR) is a combination of myofascial release, therapeutic massage, and active assisted stretching. The technique involves applying precise pressure during a specific stretch performed in multiple planes of movement. Read more

Neural Mobilization

Treatment of adverse neurodynamics by restoring normal movement between neural tissue and its surrounding structures. This allows for decreased pressure on the nerve tissue and improved function of the nerves.
